Liz Fielding has written two exceptional and relatable characters in Hal North and Claire Thackeray, one can’t help but connect with the town’s bad boy made good Hal North and single mom and gossip columnist Claire. I loved Claire’s character She was feisty and sassy, the banter between Claire and Hal was an absolute treat to read...A quote from the book:"I brought your shoe" he saidShe took it from him without slowing down, without looking at him.
